Ecclesiologia e Liturgia a cinquant’anni dalla promulgazione della Lumen Gentium

Abstract
The correlation between ecclesiology and liturgy is recent. It depends on the relationship between SC and LG. SC arranges a pattern of the Church which is accepted and then developed by LG. Through reading these two documents of Vatican II, the paper recalls the key points of the relationship between Church and Liturgy. Then, the paper tries to evaluate their acceptance fifty years after the publication of SC and LG. Some recent studies portray very well the ecclesiological pattern of SC, which will be developed by LG. To recognize the intrinsic and constitutive relationship between Church and Liturgy; to fill up liturgical deficiency, historically and sistematically produced by ecclesiology and theology: these are two indispensable commitments in the search for new implementation patterns of Vatican II’s standpoint.

La correlazione tra ecclesiologia e liturgia è un fatto recente, situato nel rapporto che intercorre tra SC e LG, anzi nel modello di Chiesa, disegnato dalla prima, recepito e sviluppato dalla seconda. L’articolo, richiamati i punti determinanti del rapporto Chiesa-Liturgia nei due documenti conciliari, prova a trarre un bilancio della loro ricezione, a cinquant’anni dalla promulgazione, tanto più che saggistica recente coglie in SC l’enucleazione – di qualità – del modello ecclesiologico poi elaborato dalla LG. Colmare il deficit liturgico storicamente e sistematicamente imputabile all’ecclesiologia e, più in generale, alla teologia, riconoscendo il rapporto intrinseco, costitutivo di Chiesa e Liturgia comporta l’impegno verso modelli nuovi attuativi della progettualità del Vaticano II.
