What is Ecclesia orans. Ricerche | Studi e Ricerche?

The series represents a natural and almost necessary extension of the journal Ecclesia orans, which is committed to serving as an academic forum for presenting and fostering dialogue on the research of the professors of the Faculty of Liturgy at the Pontifical Athenaeum of Sant’Anselmo in Rome, as well as of scholars who wish to place their own research at the service of liturgical scholarship. The series gives voice to research that exceeds the limits of a journal article, which are often too narrow for the breadth of the subject matter, and it particularly encourages the publication of sources, above all liturgical sources, and studies based on them. The volumes are therefore intended primarily for professors and researchers in the field of liturgy, as well as for students and all those who wish to deepen their understanding of the mystery celebrated per ritus et preces.
