Georg Taubitz (*1991) ist Theologe und Liturgiewissenschaftler; Studium in Frankfurt am Main, Rom (Gregoriana und Sant’Anselmo) und Kiel. Zu seinen Veröffentlichungen zählt die erste vollständige Textedition des Codex Hamburgensis, Roma, Bibliotheka Vallicelliana, Codex B141 (Münster 2020) nebst liturgiewissenschaftlichem Kommentar.

Among his publications is the first complete text edition of the Codex Hamburgensis, Roma, Bibliotheka Vallicelliana, Codex B141 (Münster 2020), along with a liturgical commentary.

In the discourse concerning the developmental history of the Mass Orders of the Roman rite in the Middle Ages, the Ordo of Cod. lat. 9432 in the Bibliothèque nationale de France is fundamental. Following the work of Victor Leroquais (1927), who provided the first transcription of the Mass Order from the so-called Amiens Sacramentary and untertages a reevaluation, dating, and new edition of the Ordo Missae.

Im Diskurs um die Entwicklungsgeschichte der Messordines des römischen Ritus im Mittelalter ist der Ordo des Cod. lat. 9432 der Bibliothèque nationale de France maßgeblich. Im Anschluss an die Arbeit von Victor Leroquais (1927), der eine erste Abschrift des Messordo des sogenannten Sakramentars von Amiens bietet, wird in diesem Buch das Sakramentar kodikologisch und inhaltlich vorgestellt und eine Neubewertung, eine Dateirung ssowie eine neue Edition des Ordo missae vorgenommen.
